Job description

Meeting with clients (or management) to develop or refine plans for the project, which may include ornamental plants, ground cover, and landscaping structures (e.g., walkways, water, and lighting).

Supervise the workers who install and maintain landscaping, including scheduling work crews, planning daily work activities, and monitoring the work being done on a daily basis.

Teaches and enforces safety regulations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Scheduling of residential landscape construction projects
• Monitor job costs and profits (job cost review)
• Manage ordering & inventory of hardscape materials
• Organize delivery of landscape materials to jobsites
• Manage customer sign off documents and receipt of final payment
• Create the design of the landscape
• Estimating costs and negotiating prices for plants, equipment, and employees
• Responsible for training and evaluating landscape crews
