Lab Assistant

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum education diploma or bachelor degree of microbiological science, food technology, biology science or any related field.
2. Experience as a laboratory analyst in food and beverages manufacturing; experience in microbiology lab will be an advantage.
3. Familiar with handling lab equipment, periodic calibration, sample preparation, and sampling methods.
4. Knowledge of and familiarity with GLP (good laboratory practices) and BPOM regulations regarding lab tests (during production process and finished goods).
5. Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word).
6. Detail-oriented and organized.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and conduct lab tests on samples during the production process (microbiological tests, and others).
2. Perform simple daily maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of lab equipment.
3. Fill out reports and forms for every lab test.
4. Organize external lab tests for new product samples (if needed), trials, and water samples.
5. Help organize QC retain samples for product monitoring.
