Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lab Analyst & Preparation Staff to join our dynamic team at Arunika Geo Services (an affiliate of PT Adijaya Karya Makmur) located in Bunta, Central Sulawesi. Responsible for managing all exploration laboratory activities, from receiving and analyzing rock/soil/core samples, ensuring the implementation of QA/QC standards, supervising the laboratory team's operations, to preparing test reports to support geological exploration programs.

Job Description

We are a growing company in the nickel mining exploration industry, looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Lab Analyst & Preparation Staff.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting sample preparation (crushing, pulverizing, splitting) according to laboratory SOPs.
  • Performing laboratory analysis of geological samples (e.g., Ni, Fe, Mg, SiO2 content) using standard methods.
  • Ensuring accuracy, precision, and validity of analytical results.
  • Implementing quality control & quality assurance (QA/QC) procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, calibration, and regular maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Adhering to safety and environmental standards at all times.
Qualifications

Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Geology, or related fields.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in mining/exploration laboratory (fresh graduates with strong competencies are welcome to apply).

Familiar with sample preparation techniques and laboratory analysis in exploration.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under target.

Willing to work in site roster system (remote area).

Good understanding of laboratory safety (K3) standards.

Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
