Job summary

BookCabin is seeking an Android Developer (Kotlin) to join our mobile engineering team in Jakarta. You will build and refine our Android app, focusing on clean architecture, performance, and a seamless travel booking experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin, solid knowledge of Android SDK and MVVM/MVI patterns, and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Jetpack Compose is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and MVVM/MVI.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance BookCabin’s Android app using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build user-centric features.
• Integrate mobile features with backend APIs.
• Ensure app performance, stability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, optimize performance, and reliability.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
