Job summary

TK Morning Star in Jakarta is seeking a Lead Teacher to design, deliver and assess engaging, age-appropriate learning activities. You will supervise daily classroom presence, validate lesson plans, and partner with the school director on children’s progress.

This role requires a Bachelor in Education, knowledge of Montessori/thematic/STEAM approaches, 1–3 years as a Lead Teacher (or 3 years as a Teacher Assistant), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Education or related field.
• Knowledge of various pedagogical approaches (e.g. Montessori, thematic, STEAM).
• 1–3 years of teaching experience as a Lead Teacher, or 3 years as Teacher Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Teach, plan, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Ensure teaching quality through daily classroom presence and supervision.
• Maintain curriculum fidelity by validating lesson plans and managing implementation.

• Deliver weekly reports to parents ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
