Our Sales team builds relationships, connects with customers, and sells our brands in new markets. They help sell iconic brands across 180 countries annually. Using your curiosity and passion, you'll leverage consumer insights and digital platforms to reach new customers and markets, supporting your growth and potential within the company.
What you need to bring to this role
Brilliant execution
- Embed the Everyday Minimum Execution Standards and ensure timely resolution of key account complaints.
- Develop and implement 12-month activity plans with excellent execution.
Partnership with key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, define and deliver medium and long-term business plans, and strategize around a total alcohol, one-portfolio approach.
- Negotiate customer trading terms and identify new business opportunities and trends, developing innovative ideas for strategic accounts.
- Execute Diageo Share performance and meet volume budgets. Manage investments for mutual benefit.
Delivery of sales objectives
- Ensure key accounts meet targets for availability, visibility, volume, margin, and product quality.
- Maintain partnerships with agencies and stakeholders to deliver impactful content and accelerate Ecommerce initiatives.
Compliance
- Ensure team members are trained and aligned with Diageo's compliance guidelines, including the Marketing Code and COBC.
- Commit to selling only safe, quality products following Diageo's Quality Management System.
Reporting & Analysis
- Gather and share insights and data with management and stakeholders. Contribute to shopper and category insights to develop effective strategies.
- Use analytics to monitor market intelligence and inform decisions.
Monitoring and advising
- Analyze brand and customer trends to support growth aligned with business goals.
- Implement category strategies to maximize visibility and ensure objectives are met, managing account profitability.
