THE ROLE

Janio is looking for a Key Account Manager, Indonesia to join our global accounts team. We are seeking a seasoned, numbers-driven, and solution-oriented individual to work closely with relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the development and maintenance of corporate accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing client accounts, providing tailored logistics solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will act as a key point of contact between Janio and our clients, leveraging your problem-solving skills and industry knowledge to drive client success and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage assigned accounts in accordance with agreed targets, goals, and company guidelines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Janio's services.
  • Create and maintain account plans based on the key account planning process, including sign-off on the overall strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support the sales team in acquiring new clients by providing insights and feedback from current accounts.
  • Solution Development:
    • Analyze client requirements and design dedicated logistics solutions, ensuring value is created in the process.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, customer support, IT) to implement and optimize solutions.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
    • Effectively hand over and transition new business to operations, ensuring customer requirements are met and commitments delivered.
  • Client Support:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and escalations.
    • Resolve issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
    • Provide training and support to clients on Janio's platform and services.
    • Conduct regular business review sessions with clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and explore opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Establish sustainable partnerships with assigned customers.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Track and report on key account metrics and performance indicators.
    • Proactively monitor monthly performance against defined targets, intervening promptly in case of deviations.
    • Ensure compliance with sales management processes, providing accurate and timely updates in the customer relationship management (CRM) and sales systems.
    • Use data insights to improve client services and operational efficiency.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Represent Janio as an industry expert and build external network relations with senior management in customer organizations.
    • Participate in networking events and industry conferences to promote Janio's brand and services.

    THE REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success within the logistics or e-commerce industry.

    Proven track record of managing and growing key client accounts.

    Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and solution development skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and last-mile delivery.

    Proficiency in using CRM software and other business tools.

    Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
