A leading beauty company is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to enhance strategic partnerships with key clients, including e-commerce platforms and beauty retailers. This role demands a strong understanding of the beauty industry, alongside excellent sales management and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customized sales strategies and managing key accounts to boost brand performance and visibility.
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to strengthen our strategic partnerships with major clients, including e-commerce platforms, modern retail, beauty stores, distributors, and premium resellers. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry and is capable of driving brand performance across multiple distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow key accounts (modern trade, e-commerce, distributors, premium resellers) in the beauty/skincare/cosmetics sector.
Develop and execute customized sales and promotional strategies for each account.
Build strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and distribution partners.
Prepare and implement annual business plans, including sales targets, promotional activities, bundling, campaign calendars, and exclusive product launches.
Analyze account performance and provide data-driven recommendations to boost sales and brand visibility.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, customer service, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of account-related activities.
Monitor product availability, visual merchandising, and strategic product positioning across all accounts.
Stay updated on beauty industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Key Account Manager in the beauty/skincare/cosmetics industry.
Strong understanding of distribution channels in the beauty sector: e-commerce, modern trade, marketplaces (Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop), resellers, and beauty retail stores.4
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proven track record in developing business plans, managing sales forecasts, and reporting performance.
Target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
Leadership experience and ability to manage a small team is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong network with buyers in e-commerce platforms or beauty retail channels.
Experience working with both local and international beauty brands.
Familiarity with the latest beauty trends in the Indonesian market.
