Job summary

Hilton Bali is seeking a Junior Sommelier to elevate guest experiences through expert cocktail crafting and professional wine service. You’ll create and deliver beverages with flair while ensuring consistency with recipes and Hilton standards.

With 1–2 years of bartending or F&B experience, you’ll delight guests, recommend wines, and maintain high health and safety standards across the bar, working closely with the team to deliver memorable stays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending or related F&B experience.
• Strong mixology skills and knowledge of alcoholic beverages and wines.
• Preferably holding a recognized wine certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities; able to recommend wines.

Responsibilities

• Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
• Prepare and serve beverages: Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction
• Maintain bar operations: Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables, for seamless service
• Process payments efficiently and accurately: Use the point-of-sale system to correctly handle cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers
• Monitor product quality: Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of all beverage-related items
• Address guest concerns professionally: Manage situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect, ensuring a safe environment
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending or related F&B experience
• Strong mixology skills and knowledge of alcoholic beverages and wines
• Preferably holding a recognized wine certification
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities, also ability to recommend wines and provide professional wine service
• Attention to detail and time management, especially during peak hours
• Familiarity with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
