Job summary

PT Istana Mesin Laundry in Sleman, DI Yogyakarta, Indonesia, seeks a junior Software Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure the quality of our POS system, partner apps, and customer platforms.

You will design and run manual tests, document bugs, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver reliable software for our laundry operations across Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Diploma in CS/IS or related field.
• 1–2 years in QA or software testing; fresh grads welcome.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and bug life cycle.
• Experience with test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Familiarity with UI/UX review tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test checklists for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure software quality.
• Conduct manual testing based on prepared cases and business logic.
• Identify, document, and report bugs using standard tools.
• Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes.
• Prepare and maintain clear and structured test reports.
• Improve test coverage and optimize testing processes.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to meet standards.

Job Description:

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) at PT Istana Mesin Laundry, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products — including our POS system, partner apps, and customer platforms. You will design and execute manual test cases, identify and document bugs, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to deliver smooth, user-friendly experiences that support our laundry business operations across Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Build, review, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test checklists for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure software quality across multiple modules.
• Conduct manual testing based on prepared cases and business logic.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or inconsistencies using standard bug tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain clear and structured test reports.
• Continuously improve test coverage and optimize testing processes for higher efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure the product meets functional and user experience standards.
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide feedback from an end-user perspective.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance, Software Tester, or similar role (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome).
• Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and bug life cycle.
• Strong skills in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
• Experience using tools like Postman, Jira, Trello, or similar for testing and issue tracking.
• Familiarity with UI/UX review tools such as Figma.
• Basic understanding of API testing and data validation (JSON format).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying potential issues.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a product team.
