Job summary

Talent Search Recruitment - Indonesia is seeking a Software Developer (.NET) to join a growing telecommunications and network infrastructure company. You will develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server, contributing across backend and UI where needed.

You will work in an agile environment, participate in code reviews, write unit tests with xUnit/NUnit/MSTest, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications using C# and ASP.NET.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs, including integration with other systems.
• Develop and maintain UI components where required using JavaScript and jQuery.
• Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, database changes, and performance improvements.
• Use Entity Framework / EF Core for data access and application development.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and production issues, including identifying root causes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and other team discussions.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements, clarify technical issues, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Software Developer (.NET) to join their technology team and contribute to the development and enhancement of their applications and systems.

About the Role

As a Software Developer (.NET), you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web-based applications using modern Microsoft technologies. You will work across the backend and, where required, the UI layer, collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-tested solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications using C# and ASP.NET.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and the ability to explain technical and design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+ and familiarity with .NET Framework codebases.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API.
• Good experience with SQL Server, including joins, stored procedures, indexes, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework / EF Core in a production environment.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs, including JSON handling and error management.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery, particularly when working with existing front-end code.
• Experience using Git, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
• Experience writing unit tests using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically identify and isolate issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an Agile development environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure or AWS, particularly App Service, SQL, Storage, or Blob services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Serilog or Application Insights.
• Understanding of dependency injection, async/await, and caching.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Exposure to SSRS, Power BI, background jobs, or data migration projects.
