About the role

Revillon Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors (Pre & Post) to join our team in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As a full-time Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform a full range of Quantity Surveyor activities, including tender preparation, estimation, quantities take-off, and claim preparation.
2. Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for projects.
3. Develop and manage tender documents, tender reports, quotation costing, and contract documents.
4. Ensure the timely submission of interim progress claims and facilitate the certification of work completed by clients or main contractors through site valuation.
5. Monitor and ensure that all variation orders are properly recorded and claimed.
6. Ensure the timely and accurate closing of final accounts.
7. Review letters of appointment, contract drawings, and documents, identifying any deviations from the tender.
8. Prepare Letters of Award or Work Orders for subcontractor works.
9. Assist with the overall administration of various contractors and subcontracts.
10. Verify and prepare progress claims and variation orders submitted by subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring payments are in line with the terms of contracts.
11. Attend site meetings as required by management.
12. Liaise with subcontractors, gather quotations, and perform comparisons to ensure cost efficiency.
13. Advise on contractual matters and claim avoidance.
14. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin to liaise with the Cantonese-speaking director.
• Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
• Strong planning, interpersonal, communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read Bills of Quantities (BQ) and drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Committed to work and willing to work extra hours when required.
