Job summary

PT TeamworX Indonesia is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering Department. You will support electrical engineering design, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for industrial and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with ETAP or similar software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design or engineering projects.
• Basic understanding of electrical power distribution systems, LV/MV systems, electrical equipment, grounding, and protection systems.
• Familiar with electrical engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Able to perform basic electrical engineering calculations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of ETAP or other electrical engineering software is an advantage.
• Familiar with electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and PUIL is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing electrical engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare and update electrical engineering deliverables such as SLD, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment lists, and electrical layouts.
• Assist in electrical system calculations, including load calculation, cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit, and other basic electrical calculations.
• Assist in preparing electrical equipment specifications and technical documentation.
• Review electrical drawings and documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with Senior Electrical Engineers and other engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Process, Civil/Structural, and Instrumentation & Control.
• Assist in reviewing vendor drawings, technical documents, and equipment data.
• Support the engineering team in resolving design and technical issues.
• Ensure engineering documents are properly prepared, updated, and issued according to project requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions and coordination meetings when required.
• Support site/project teams on electrical engineering matters when required.
