About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at PT Fata Organa Solusi . As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the preparation and cleaning of data from various sources to ensure quality and reliability for analysis.

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Participate in the creation of predictive models, using tools such as Python, R, or any machine learning frameworks.

Work on model engineering and optimization, tuning parameters to improve model accuracy and performance.

Collaborate with the team to deploy and serve models in production environments.

Present findings and insights to stakeholders to support decision-making processes

What we're looking for

Have intermediate understanding in python

Interested in data science and audio technology

Willing to self-learn new things, and if necessary, unlearn and relearn programming methods

Understand basic git concepts (PR, commit, fork)

At least 525 TOEFL PBT or 5.5 IELTS or 55 TOEFL IBT

Does not need to take test, proven by interview in English

Advantageous if:

Have experience working with C++, more so C++17 or newer

Understand versioning, release management, and tagging on Git

Have experience working in more than one OS

Experience in CI/CD (eg Jenkins, CircleCI, Github Actions, other systems)

Have N5 or higher Japanese Proficiency.

Understand the concept of clean code.

Understand the concept of unit testing.

Able to write good and concise reports

Have moderate understanding of :

Web development and related programming languages

Database management and design
