We are looking for talented and highly motivated fresh graduates to join Datapower as Junior Data Analysts / Consultants.
This role combines hands-on data analysis and modelling with strategy analysis and development. You will be responsible for preparing and analysing data, supporting the development and validation of analytical models, and translating model results into practical business strategies and recommendations.
The position is ideal for recent undergraduate or postgraduate graduates with strong academic backgrounds in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or other relevant quantitative disciplines.
Data Preparation and Cleaning
Collect, consolidate, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis and modelling.
Clean datasets by identifying and addressing missing values, duplicates, inconsistencies, outliers, and data-quality issues.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure that analytical outputs are accurate and reliable.
Understand data structures, variables, definitions, and relationships before using the data for analysis.
Create well-structured and reusable datasets for modelling and strategy analysis.
Feature Engineering and Analysis
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, customer behaviours, risk indicators, and business opportunities.
Develop, transform, and select relevant analytical features for modelling.
Evaluate feature coverage, stability, predictive value, and business relevance.
Perform customer segmentation, performance analysis, and comparative analysis across different populations or periods.
Translate data findings into clear and meaningful business insights.
Support the development of statistical and machine-learning models.
Assist in selecting appropriate modelling approaches based on the business problem and available data.
Train, test, validate, and compare model performance.
Evaluate model accuracy, stability, interpretability, and practical business value.
Identify model limitations, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Support model monitoring, performance tracking, and periodic model enhancement.
Top-tier university graduates with outstanding academic performance (GPA ≥ 3.5/4.0)
Strong analytical, numerical, and structured problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of data preparation, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering.
Good foundation in statistics, predictive modelling, and model-evaluation methods.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data preparation, analysis, and modelling.
Ability to interpret analytical results and connect them to practical business decisions.
Strong interest in strategy analysis, strategy design, and strategy development.
Fluent in spoken and written English, with the confidence to participate in meetings, prepare professional reports and presentations, and communicate effectively with international teams and clients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Curious, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn quickly.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multicultural team.
Familiarity with model evaluation, feature engineering, and data visualization
