We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our client's team in Jakarta. As a Junior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve software defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
  3. Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and identify software defects and inconsistencies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  5. Participate in product design and code reviews to provide quality assurance input.
  6. Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite, keeping it up to date with the evolving software requirements.
  7. Document and communicate test results, defects, and any other relevant information to stakeholders.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and automation.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of proven experience or strong interest in software quality assurance and automation testing. Experience in the banking industry is a huge plus.
  3. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
  4. Experience with automated testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  5. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  6. Basic knowledge of web technologies and understanding of web application architectures.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  9. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  10. Must be able to work on-site in Jakarta.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  2. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  3. Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  4. Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
  5. Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
