About the role

PT IDStar Cipta Teknologi is seeking a talented Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Java-based applications. This is a contract position based in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta Raya.

What you'll be doing

Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions using Java and related technologies

Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and software engineering principles

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, and continuously improve the codebase

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the quality and reliability of the software

Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to enhance the development process

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

What we're looking for

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and Spring Boot framework

Proficiency in designing and developing Java-based applications, including experience with web services, databases, and integration with other systems

Proven experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on best practices and software engineering principles

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Willing to work in Jakarta (Working in Office)
