About the role

We are seeking a talented Japanese Interpreter to join our client in South Jakarta. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with exceptional Japanese language skills and a passion for interpreting and translation within a Finance & Banking company. As a Japanese Interpreter, you will facilitate seamless communication between our company and Japanese clients and partners.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing accurate and professional Japanese interpretation services during meetings, presentations, and other business events.
2. Translating written materials, such as documents, emails, and reports, between Japanese and Indonesian/English.
3. Serving as a cultural bridge to ensure clear understanding and effective collaboration with Japanese stakeholders.
4. Assisting in the preparation and review of materials for Japanese-language interactions.
5. Maintaining confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of interpretation and translation processes.

What we're looking for

1. Business-level proficiency in Japanese, with excellent command of both written and spoken language.
2. JLPT N2 or N1 certification.
3. Strong interpreting and translation skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
5. At least 2 years of professional experience as a Japanese interpreter or translator.
6. A bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation, international relations, or a related field.
