AMK Technology in North Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 2-year contract. You will own end-to-end software lifecycle from architecture to deployment, building microservices, RESTful APIs, and real-time streaming with Kafka.

Expect collaboration with architects, product managers, and agile squads in a fast-paced finance-tech environment. You should have 5+ years of Java backend experience, strong microservices knowledge, and be within commuting distance to Jakarta.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in Java backend development.
• Hands-on Java development with strong OOP.
• Experience designing and building microservices-based applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications and microservices.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and distributed backend systems.
• Configure and manage real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka.
• Implement high-performance caching with Redis and ensure security standards.
• Conduct unit and integration tests to guarantee quality.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance bottlenecks in production.
• Maintain technical documentation and API specs.
• Coordinate work to ensure Jakarta commutable availability.
