About the role
PT Garuda Metalindo is seeking a skilled IT Technical Support professional to join our team in the Cibitung District of Bekasi, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues reported by users
- Provide end-user support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and other IT equipment
- Assist with the management and maintenance of our IT systems, including servers, storage, and network devices
- Coordinate with external IT service providers to ensure timely resolution of complex technical problems
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect our systems and data
- Provide technical training and documentation to end-users to improve their IT skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure and processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Proficient in hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Solid understanding of network technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and the ability to implement appropriate measures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
