A leading ICT solutions provider in Jakarta is seeking an IT Support Specialist to perform backup and restore operations, conduct system maintenance, and provide 24/7 support. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in IT or related fields and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and enterprise backup solutions is required. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Perform backup and restore operations for Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) using Cohesity backup solutions.
Conduct monthly preventive maintenance of IT systems.
Carry out corrective maintenance to resolve system issues promptly and minimize downtime.
Apply tested firmware and security patches across relevant hardware and software environments to ensure system reliability and security.
Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Provide hands-on support for hardware and software troubleshooting, ensuring issues are diagnosed and resolved effectively.
Deliver 24/7 onsite monitoring and support on a rotational shift basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Document system configurations, maintenance logs, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors for issue escalation and resolution.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant IT support or infrastructure role.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, enterprise storage, and network systems.
Experience with virtualization technologies, especially Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM), VMware, and Nutanix.
Proficient in managing and supporting both Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
Hands-on experience with enterprise backup solutions, such as Cohesity, NetBackup, Veeam, or equivalent.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware (server, storage) and software (OS, applications) efficiently.
Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift setup, including night shifts and holidays.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
