IT System Engineer

PT IDX Solusi Teknologi Informasi (IDXSTI) was established in November 2018 as a subsidiary of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and other SROs such as KPEI and KSEI. IDXSTI focuses on providing Information Technology (IT) services to the Indonesia Capital Market Industry and other Financial Services. Our objective is to deliver the best IT solutions to support the development of Indonesia's Capital Market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Respond to and assist in daily production operations in a 24/7 environment.
2. Evaluate, test, and integrate new operating system versions, drivers, and patches.
3. Manage system performance, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
4. Provide technical support and coordinate with other teams such as developers, testers, release engineers, liaison officers, principals, and end-users.
5. Document system configurations, report activities, procedures, and policies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux systems.
3. Strong understanding of system administration, networking, and storage concepts.
4. Experience with high availability and high-performance systems.
5. Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux; certifications are a plus.
6. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
7. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
8. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
9. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
10. Basic scripting skills in common programming languages.
11. Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented team environment.
12. Customer-focused with a dedication to providing the best user experience.
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
