IT System Engineer

• Support to provide IT system management documentation
• Perform and manage maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of IT systems, server platforms, and bare metal
• Responsible for the deployment, installation, configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of server systems
• Perform SLA for High Availability for IT system platform
• Provide support to development teams that use the automated system
• Collaborate with developer team to create and manage end-to-end application delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux Operating System and Windows-based environments
• Good understanding of virtualization (VMware/Proxmox), HA/clustering, and experience with backup solutions
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in always-up, always-available service
• Well-versed in internet architectures, including web, applications, and database components such as Apache, Nginx, MariaDB, MySQL, etc.
• Good English and a positive attitude
• Fast learner and willing to learn new things
• Willing to travel to different sites
