About the role
Join Verdyne Technology as an IT Support in our dynamic Jakarta office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting to our employees, ensuring their IT systems and software are functioning seamlessly. This is a full-time position that offers a flexible and supportive work environment.
What you'll be doing
- Respond to IT support requests and provide first-level troubleshooting on a range of hardware and software issues
- Liaise with employees to understand problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
- Perform software installations, configurations, and updates on end-user devices
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems
- Document and maintain detailed records of all support activities and resolutions
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams or vendors for further assistance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and procedures
- Collaborate with the US Team to assist in monitor, identify, analyze and resolve any issues arises.
- Be on-call during after hours
- Provide daily reports
- Continue learning on present and new materials/subjects at hand
- Assist with any future projects
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a range of hardware, software, and operating systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in English language - both spoken and written
- Familiarity with common IT support tools and ticketing systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality support
- A relevant diploma or certificate in information technology or a related field
- Experience with international level projects with good data quality
- Experience in VMWare, Hyper-V, ticketing, computer, database and networking systems
- Able to accept and implement Company's working culture
- Humility and teachable
