This role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all hardware and software systems and networks.
Key Tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems.
- Provide technical support to users (troubleshooting) to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Ensure that computers are functioning properly and operating as intended.
- Perform checks to ensure applications are running correctly.
- Check and update operating systems and user-installed applications.
- Configure and manage internet browsers used by users.
- Conduct regular data backups and restore data from the backup system when needed.
- Maintain system security and manage company data backups.
- Manage technology systems, including hardware, software, applications, and operating systems.
- Install and configure network components.
- Regularly monitor and maintain computer hardware, systems, and networks.
- Optimize IT systems, such as network performance and protection against cyber threats.
- Perform periodic company data backups.
- Ensure system security by using antivirus software and related tools.
- Update operating systems and applications used by users.
- Conduct maintenance of both software and hardware components.
- Minimum education of D3 (Associate Degree) or Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related major.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT Support or a similar position.
- Proficient in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Knowledgeable in basic networking (LAN, WAN, IP Address, etc.).
- Proficient in computer programs and able to quickly identify computer issues.
- Possesses good communication and analytical skills.
