Job summary
A leading technology company in Indonesia is seeking an IT Support Engineer to ensure all computer systems and applications function smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information system.
- Minimum 2 Years of working experience as a IT Support/Operation, Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Ability to manage Troubleshooting hardware & software (PC, Laptop, Printer, Scanner, Peripheral).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Understanding Operation System Windows & Linux (Install, Configuration and Maintenance).
- Understanding Computer Networks (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and VPN).
- Familiar with Active Directory, Office, Email, Antivirus and Backup Data.
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
- Have the ability to build relationships with business users and have the initiative to work responsibilities.
- Discipline, detail, good problem solving and can be under pressure with target or SLA.
Job Description
- Ensure all computer equipment and applications used by users are working normally.
- Maintain end user device security to protect organization’s data.
- Conduct periodic backup (and restore) procedures to prevent data loss.
- Check and update operating systems and application.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware within the SLA.
- Manage troubleshooting hardware & software user.
- Ensure computers are properly connected to Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems to communicate.
- Setting up local user accounts, permissions and passwords based on policy and procedures.
- Provide periodic reporting over incidents and problems.
- Track hardware and software inventory including the documentations.
- Support procurement process, disposal and stock opname for IT asset management.
