The IT Security Specialist ensures the strategy and implementation of information security in accordance with the needs and applicable regulations regarding Networks, Tools and Application Development; and is able to develop applications, driving the software development life-cycle for security aspects.

Job Responsibilities :

1. System & Network Security
   a. Monitor and secure networks, servers, databases, and endpoints from unauthorized
   access, malware, and data breaches.
   b. Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS),
   antivirus, and other security tools.
   c. Ensure the strategy and implementation of information security in accordance with the
   needs and applicable regulations regarding Networks, Tools and Application Development
   d. Develop comprehensive cyber security and risk management processes for infrastructure
   and operations architecture in accordance with the Company's needs
2. Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Management
   a. Conduct regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
   b. Identify, analyze, and mitigate security weaknesses and potential threats.
   c. Assess risk levels, develop and recommend appropriate mitigation counter-measures
   d. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and their security status
3. Incident Response & Investigation
   a. Detect, respond to, and investigate security incidents and breaches.
   b. Conduct root cause analysis and provide remediation plans.
   c. Document incidents and report findings to management with recommendations.
   4. Access Control & Identity Management
   a. Manage user access permissions, roles, and authentication mechanisms
   b. Monitor for unusual login behaviour or unauthorized access attempts

Requirements :

Experience & Education

• Minimum 3years of experience in IT security or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in IT security testing, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and computer architecture.
• Proficiency in security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with cloud security tools and secure cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and Application Security Testing solutions.
• Familiar with cybersecurity frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.
• Experienced in incident response, threat detection, and log management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• One or more relevant security certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISA, CISM, or ISMS.

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (English proficiency equivalent to C1 – Advanced).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
• High level of integrity, resilience, and professionalism.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Comfortable working in cross-cultural environments and managing multiple priorities.
