Job summary

Bank Muamalat Indonesia is seeking an IT Security Operations Center professional to monitor security events across networks, servers, applications and cloud environments using SIEM and security monitoring tools.

The role involves incident response, threat hunting, log analysis, and ongoing improvement of SOC operations, with opportunities for skill development and career growth in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Cyber Security with 1+ year in SOC/Network Operations.
• Solid understanding of SOC, Incident Response, SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall/WAF & Email Security.
• Knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux, endpoint security, log analysis, and basics of forensics.
• Awareness of vulnerability management, cyber attack techniques and security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events across network, server, application, database, cloud and endpoint environments.
• Detect, investigate, classify, escalate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with relevant teams.
• Conduct threat hunting, log analysis and threat intelligence activities to identify threats.
• Manage and optimize security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, WAF and Email Security.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation and provide security recommendations based on risk.

Job Description :

• Monitor and analyze security events across network, server, application, database, cloud, and endpoint environments using SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Detect, investigate, classify, elevate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in coordination with relevant teams.
• Conduct threat hunting, log analysis, and threat intelligence activities to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Manage and optimize security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, WAF, Email Security, and other security solutions.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and provide security recommendations based on risk and threat analysis.
• Prepare security reports, incident documentation, KRI, SOC metrics, and support the continuous improvement of SOC operations, security controls, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 year of experience in IT Security Operation Center / IT Network Operation Center.
• Good understanding of Cyber Security Operation Center (SOC), Incident Response, SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall, WAF, and Email Security.
• Knowledge of network, Windows/Linux, endpoint security, log analysis, and basic forensics.
• Understanding of vulnerability management, cyber attack techniques, and security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills.
• Willing to work in shifts or 24/7 operations.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash) and Cloud Security knowledge is a plus.
