A leading telecommunications provider in Indonesia is seeking a SAP Basis Administrator to coordinate system operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT and a minimum of 3 years of SAP experience. Responsibilities include managing transport requests, user roles, and liaising with cloud services. The role offers a challenging and rewarding environment in a fast-growing company.
Coordination with SAP Operation Team (via SAP Cloud ALM or me.sap.com)
Monitoring jobs, system health, interfaces, and background processing (via SAP Fiori, Solution Manager, or SAP Cloud ALM)
Transport Management System (TMS): handle transport requests and landscape coordination (QAS, PRD)
User & Role Administration
SAP Notes and Support Package coordination (even though the upgrade is carried out by SAP, the customer still approves and tests it)
Interface Management: such as RFC, IDoc, BAPI, OData services
Certificate management (for HTTPS connections, SAML2, etc.)
Printer Configuration
Incident handling via SAP Launchpad / SAP for Me
Change request management: downtime coordination, apply SAP Notes, patch
Monitoring and escalation of performance issues to SAP
EarlyWatch Alert report review and follow-up
Integration with other cloud solutions: such as SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, or thirdparty systems
SAML2 and Identity Federation (Entra ID, Keycloak, etc.)
API Security (OData / REST) between SAP and other system
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3 years SAP Basic Experience
SAP Basis Technical, familiar with SAP S/4 HANA (2020 or 2022 version), HANA DB, Transport Management System (STMS), SAP Notes & Patching, SAP Gateway & Fiori
Understand the RISE with SAP Concept (the tenant structure and the role of shared responsibility model)
Familiar with SAP Launchpad / SAP for Me, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud ALM or SolMan
Familiar with SingleSign-On, SAML2, and OAuth
Understand integration via RFC, SOAP, REST/OData
Experience in managing cloud-based systems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
In Depth understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and Infrastructure IT
Expertise in virtualization technologies (Nutanix, VMWare, Hyper-V) and database management (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Excellent with problem solving, analytical thinking, cress-team communication skills (with Infrastructure, IT security, and SAP Fuctional Team
Frequently used tools / platforms (SAP GUI, SAP Fiori Admin Apps, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Launchpad / SAP for Me, SAP Support Portal, SAP Cloud Connector, Identity Provider such as Azure AD/Entra ID, Keycloak, etc.)
