Job description

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple automation frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using various automation frameworks

Create comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications

Implement end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites

Develop and maintain test data management strategies

Framework & Tool Management

Evaluate and recommend appropriate automation tools based on project requirements

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks

Implement CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing

Quality Assurance

Execute automated test suites and analyze test results

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools

Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve code quality

Perform manual testing when necessary to complement automated testing efforts

Reporting & Documentation

Generate detailed test reports and metrics

Document test procedures, test cases, and automation frameworks

Provide regular status updates to stakeholders

Maintain test documentation and knowledge base

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

Automation Tools Experience:

• Selenium WebDriver (Java, Python, or C#)
• Cypress for modern web application testing
• UiPath for RPA and desktop application testing

Programming & Scripting

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)

Knowledge of SQL for database testing

Testing Knowledge

3+ years of experience in software testing and test automation

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices

Experience with API testing and REST/SOAP services

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Technical Environment

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar)

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Familiarity with performance testing tools

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Skills

Experience with mobile automation testing (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Experience with security testing automation

Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)

Experience with visual regression testing tools

Certifications

Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Industry Experience

Experience in a relevant industry
