Job summary

A leading fintech company is looking for a Project Manager to oversee IT projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the banking or consulting sectors, possess excellent leadership skills, and be adept at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in various project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on ensuring that project deliverables meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in project management within banking, consulting, or IT.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed IT project plans including schedules and resource allocation.
• Manage project scope and handle change requests effectively.
• Track and monitor project progress using tools like Jira or Trello.

Job description

• Develop and maintain detailed IT project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and milestones
• Coordinate with technical teams (e.g., developers, Quality Assurance, infrastructure, cybersecurity)
• Manage project scope and handle change requests effectively
• Track and monitor project progress using tools like Blue, Jira or Trello
• Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
• Ensure project deliverables meet technical standards and stakeholder expectations
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate proactively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Implement appropriate project management methodologies
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from Computer Science or Information Technology, master degree is a plus
• 3 - 4 years working experience in related fields such as banking, consulting, or related IT industry as a Project Manager
• Deep understanding of how the financial service industry and fintech companies work
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Clear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical teams
• Pmp, Prince2 or similar certification is a plus
• Willing to Work From Office
