A leading IT consulting company in Jakarta is seeking an IT OSS to provide first-line support for operational systems and IT infrastructure. This role involves diagnosing issues, system maintenance, and managing IT assets in diverse environments, including underground operations. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in relevant fields and have at least 2 years of experience in IT support. The IT OSS will provide first-line support for operational systems and IT infrastructure, focusing on issue mitigation and failure prevention, especially in underground environments. The key responsibilities are but not limited to:
Issue Resolution & Documentation: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, documenting solutions for team knowledge sharing.
Control Room & First Layer Support: Assist dispatchers and operators with IT issues in control room and mining areas; escalate as necessary.
Ticket Management: Track, resolve, and escalate tickets efficiently.
System Maintenance: Monitor and optimize system performance, apply updates, and perform routine checks.
Asset Management: Maintain inventory, manage lifecycle, and ensure compliance with MIS policies.
Requirements:
Must be willing to work in Jobsite (Papua) with Roster system (6 weeks onsite, 2 weeks offsite).
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or relevant majors with minimum GPA 3.00
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, operations systems support, or related roles.
Experience with IT asset management and control room operations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Proficient in IT infrastructure, including applications and IT desk support. Experience in servers, networks, radio systems will be a plus.
Proficiency in system monitoring, performing routine checks, applying approved software patches, and optimizing system performance.
Experience in creating technical documentation, such as user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, including procurement, inventory control, reporting, and maintenance.
Willingness to work in diverse and potentially challenging environments, including underground operations and field sites.
Flexibility to be on-call for urgent issues as needed.
