A leading tour & travel company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the technology team. You will manage IT systems to ensure smooth operations while optimizing customer engagement through innovative solutions. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and at least 3 years in IT management focused on travel technology. As an IT Manager, you will lead the technology team in managing and developing IT systems to ensure smooth business operations. We are looking for a proactive, innovative individual with strong expertise in IT infrastructure, system development, and airline/ticketing technologies (GDS and reservation systems) to support the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement IT strategies aligned with business needs.
Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data security, and cloud systems.
Develop IT policies to ensure operational efficiency and data security.
System & Security Management
Oversee and maintain GDS (Amadeus,Galileo, Sabre, Travelport, etc.) and airline/ticketing systemsto ensure seamless integration and performance.
Manage the operation of booking platforms, websites, mobile applications, and content management systems.
Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to protect company data and prevent cyber threats.
Handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades as needed.
Technology Development & Innovation
Analyze business needs and propose technology-driven solutions to enhance customer experience.
Manage software development or integration to support business operations, includingCRM, ERP, Online Reservation Systems, and API integrations with Airlines and Travel Platforms.
Optimize customer engagement through cutting-edge technology, such as AI, Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing.
Lead and mentor the IT team to ensure effective performance.
Coordinate with GDS Providers, Airline Partners, and Travel tech vendors for system integration and updates.
Manage the IT budget and ensure technology investments add value to the business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreein Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the travel, airline, or e-commerce industry.
Strong understanding of GDS systems (Amadeus,Galileo, Sabre, Travelport, etc.) and airline/ticketing technology.
Experience in managing Online Booking Systems, CRM, ERP, or Travel Reservation Platforms.
Strong knowledge of Network Systems, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and API integrations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to work across departments and external partners.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
