The IT Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise IT Infrastructure Team: Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain IT Systems: Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and data centers.
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Address and resolve technical issues promptly, providing support to other departments as needed.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure and maintain IT equipment and services.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all IT practices comply with company policies and industry regulations, implementing security measures to protect data and systems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure and provide regular reports to senior management
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network management, server administration, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technological environments and stay updated with industry trends.
