Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center tech: servers, storage, networking, virtualization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
• Oversee daily data center operations, including monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Manage and execute special IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop and implement data center policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance data center efficiency, scalability, and security.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to data center hardware, software, and services.
• Prepare and present reports on data center performance, project status, and key metrics to management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role focused on data centers.
• Proven experience in managing and implementing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in data center technologies, including server hardware, storage systems (SAN/NAS), networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
