Job description

Our production portfolio includes basic oleochemical products such as Fatty Acids, Glycerine, Fatty Alcohols, and Fatty Esters, as well as specialty products like Methyl Ester Sulphonates (MES), Surfactants, and Phytonutrients. These products serve diverse end-use applications, including home & personal care, pharmaceuticals, food & nutrition, flavours & fragrances, lubricants, polymers, and industrial chemicals.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Assist in monitoring and maintaining network performance to ensure optimal operation of all network components.
2. Support the implementation and configuration of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
3. Participate in troubleshooting network issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with senior network engineers to document network configurations and maintain an inventory of network devices.
5. Contribute to network security efforts by implementing best practices and assisting in vulnerability assessments.
6. Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging network technologies and methodologies.

Job Success Requirements

1. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
2. Familiarity with networking monitoring tools and software.
3. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
4. Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting on Cisco or similar platforms.
5. Exposure to cloud networking concepts and technologies.
6. Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies.
7. Knowledge of networking security practices and tools.
8. Experience with network management systems and monitoring tools.

Additional Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. At least 4 years of experience in a network support or management role.
3. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
