Job description

Responsibilities
  • Maintain configurations of device hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and support computer systems and networks.
  • Set up accounts for new users and support onboarding processes.
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain records of software licenses and serial numbers of devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve computer software and hardware issues.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the academy's network, following security best practices.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations to meet institutional needs.
  • Oversee email systems, file sharing, and collaboration tools used by staff, faculty, and students.
  • Manage device damage or loss claim procedures.
  • Ensure regular backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, assigning responsibilities and ensuring effective performance.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the academy’s mission and objectives.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to educational and operational capabilities.
Management Support Activities
  • Provide reports to the direct supervisor.
  • Suggest process improvements related to responsibilities, focusing on time, effort, and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in activities related to the Quality Management System.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the direct supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior IT support role or 4 years as Helpdesk/IT Support.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with hardware and software, including macOS and/or iOS support.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IT, networking, and software trends.
  • Scripting experience in BASH, Python, Perl, or similar.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Willing to be placed at BSD-Tangerang Selatan.
