IT Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Officer to oversee and maintain our organization's IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing network and system security, providing technical support, and ensuring the optimal performance of all IT-related equipment and systems.

1. Oversee daily operations of IT systems, manage security protocols, and support technical issues.
2. Implement new technologies, troubleshoot problems, and ensure data security.
3. Set up and manage user accounts and ensure all equipment functions properly.
4. Monitor software licenses and maintain accurate records of hardware devices, including serial numbers.
5. Manage device insurance and handle claims for damages or losses.
6. Provide timely technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
7. Maintain and monitor IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
8. Manage network access, ensuring security and reliability.
9. Implement and update security protocols; conduct security assessments.
10. Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software; ensure licensing compliance.
11. Oversee data backup and recovery procedures.
12. Develop and enforce IT policies and documentation.
13. Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and services.
