Job summary

McEasy, a transportation management solution to simplify complex logistics operations, is seeking an IoT Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will assist in IoT hardware-software integration, collaborate with the IoT team to connect devices to MEP, and produce clear IoT documentation.

Requirements include 3-6 years of experience, a background in Electrical/Computer/ Informatics Engineering, and proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Golang. Surabaya placement, on-site work.

Qualifications

• High School / Vocational High School required.
• Major: Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Informatics).
• 3-6 years of experience requested.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or Golang.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, voltages, and hardware components.
• Experience with IoT systems, protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and device integration.
• Knowledge of socket programming and containerized platforms.
• Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating IoT hardware with software systems for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the IoT team to integrate devices with MEP and suggest improvements.
• Document IoT devices, including command formats and data in readable form.
• Make quick, informed decisions and own services and apps at scale.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture and produce clean code.

What will you do?

• Assist in the seamless integration of IoT hardware with software systems to ensure optimal performance
• Communicate with the IoT team to integrate devices to MEP, and give recommendations for improvements
• Compile IoT device documentation such as: Command Format, Byte Information, and IoT Data into readable human format
• Make informed decisions quickly and take ownership of services and applications at scale
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Be a persistent, creative problem solver
• Remain cool and effective in a crisis
• Review and debug code

Qualifications:

• Min. High School / Vocational High School
• Major: Engineering (Electrical Engineer / Computer Engineer / Informatics Engineer)
• Possess 3 - 6 years experiences
• Strong knowledge in one of Python, TypeScript, or Golang
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, voltages, and hardware components
• Strong knowledge of Relational Database and SQL is a plus
• Strong experience in translating low level TCP Packet (Binary, Bytes, Hex)
• Familiarity with IoT systems, communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and device integration
• Knowledge in socket programming & containerized platform
