Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of internal audit experience, preferably in life or general insurance and banking. Strong Excel/data analytics, RCA and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of internal audit experience, preferably in life insurance, followed by general insurance and banking.
• Understanding of Internal Audit Standards and RBIA methodology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analytics for identifying anomalies and trends in large datasets.
• Strong capability in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Risk Assessment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Strong business report writing skills with the ability to communicate audit findings clearly and concisely.
• Able to maintain constructive working relationships with auditees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support audit planning and preparation based on audit objectives and risk assessment.
• Conduct audit fieldwork and internal control testing.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers in accordance with audit standards.
• Prepare audit reports and provide practical recommendations based on audit findings.
• Monitor and follow up on agreed audit recommendations and corrective actions.
