• Execute the audit plan in accordance with AIG policies and procedures.

• Monitor evolving risk profiles and communicate impact to Audit Committee and senior management.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance IA methodology where appropriate.

The Internal Audit Group protects AIG through assurance work and partners with stakeholders to provide objective advice and insight. The group assists the Corporation in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of AIG’s control environment, including risk management, operational, internal control and governance processes. In addition, we proactively engage with stakeholders by monitoring progress of transformation / change initiatives and provide valuable advice and insight that contributes to moving these initiatives forward.

How You Will Create An Impact

• This Individual Contributor role will ensure execution of the audit plan and that individual audit engagements are performed according to AIG’s policies and procedures;
• You will be following the audit flow as defined in Audit Committee Charter; and be responsible for developing an audit plan based on risk assessment results and reporting the plan to the Audit Committee for review and approval;
• You need to continuously consider AIGI’s risk profile, including new or emerging risks, business changes and transformation, new initiatives and business trends, and communicating any impact on the risk profile to the Audit Committee and AIG Senior Management as appropriate; as well as communicating and monitoring the corrective actions status to the Audit Committee and AIGI Senior Management;
• You will establish and ensure adherence to AIG policies and procedures and continuously evaluating and enhancing IA’s audit methodology where appropriate;
