Job summary

PT Mahadana Dasha Utama seeks an Insurance & SHE Supervisor to manage the Group's insurance portfolio and oversee Safety, Health, and Environment programs across its entities.

The role focuses on ensuring adequate coverage, handling claims, and maintaining compliance with regulations, while driving risk mitigation and continuous SHE improvements. You will coordinate renewals, liaise with brokers and insurers, and support awareness campaigns, training, inspections, and audits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental/Industrial Engineering or OHS.
• 3–5 years in Insurance, Risk Management, SHE, or HSE.
• Exposure to two of Mining, ICT/Technology, Property Management, Retail, or Hospitality.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Certifications: AK3 Umum, ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor, CRMP, AAI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Group's insurance portfolio across all entities.
• Coordinate renewals, policy placements, and negotiations with brokers and insurers.
• Review coverage, policy limits, deductibles, and terms to align with the Group's risk profile.
• Ensure protection for assets, operations, liabilities, employees, and activities.
• Maintain insurance schedules, policy records, and asset declarations.
• Coordinate and monitor insurance claims from notification through settlement.
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and business units to resolve claims.
• Analyze claims trends and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines across the Group.
• Ensure SHE programs comply with regulations, industry standards, and corporate requirements.
• Support SHE awareness campaigns, trainings, inspections, and audits.

Job description

The Insurance & SHE Supervisor is responsible for managing corporate insurance programs and overseeing the implementation of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies to protect company assets, employees, and operations. This role ensures insurance coverage adequacy, claims management, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and the effective implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Group's insurance portfolio across all business entities
• Coordinate insurance renewals, policy placements, and negotiations with brokers and insurers
• Review insurance coverage, policy limits, deductibles, and terms to ensure alignment with the Group's risk profile
• Ensure adequate insurance protection for the Group's assets, operations, liabilities, employees, and business activities
• Maintain insurance schedules, policy records, and asset declarations
• Coordinate and monitor insurance claims from notification through settlement
• Liaise with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and business units to facilitate timely claims resolution and recovery
• Analyze claims trends and recommend risk mitigation and loss prevention measures
• Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines across the Group
• Ensure SHE programs comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and corporate requirements
• Support SHE awareness campaigns, training programs, inspections, and audits.

Job Requirements

• Education in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related disciplines
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Insurance, Risk Management, SHE, or HSE functions
• Experience managing corporate insurance programs in a multi-business environment
• Exposure to at least two of the following sectors: Mining or Heavy Equipment, ICT / Technology, Property Management, Retail Operations, Hospitality
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role preferred
• Preferred certifications: AK3 Umum (General Occupational Safety Expert Certification), ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, ISO 14001 Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Associate in insurance (AAI) or equivalent insurance certification
