SRC is seeking applications/qualifications from both Insulation Contractors and Mechanical (HVAC) Contractors to contract for United States Department of Energy (‘DOE”), Low Income Weatherization Services, administered by the Minnesota Department of Commerce (“DOC”), and delivered by SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES CENTER, INC.
This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to contract with Insulation and HVAC contractors for United States Department of Energy (“DOE”), Low Income Weatherization Program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Commerce (“DOC”), and delivered by SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES CENTER, INC., based and operating within the State of Minnesota.
Each applicant’s qualifications and all contracted services provided by or under the applicant must fully comply with all applicable DOE weatherization assistance and financial assistance program requirements and regulations. This RFQ is limited to contracted insulation and HVAC services specifically described in this RFQ and the program requirements associated with them.
Hours
Contractors will manage scheduling with the Weatherization Assistance Program clients within their own business hours constraints.
SRC's hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4 PM.
Primary Duties
Primary duties for contractors working with the Weatherization Assistance Program include scheduling appointments with clients, receiving work orders, completing work orders in homes, communicating with Quality Control Inspectors, and submitting invoices to SRC staff.
Experience
Only parties currently licensed by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry as a Residential Building Contractor, Residential Remodeler, or Licensed/Bonded HVAC Contractor and who meet the other requirements set forth in this RFQ may respond.
