Job summary

RGE is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to ensure the reliability, calibration, and optimal operation of plant control instruments. You will perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot instrument errors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and avoid stockouts of critical spares.

The role requires a Diploma (D3) or Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation, 3+ years in process plants, and AK3U eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on instrumentation experience in process plants.
• Strong calibration and error analysis skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Instrumentation related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily preventive and corrective maintenance on plant instrumentation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument errors to prevent downtime.
• Generate and manage maintenance orders; monitor spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous plant operations.
