Job description

We are currently recruiting professional candidates for Instrument Engineer/ Test & Commissioning Supervisor positions to join and work at High Volt Technology with the following qualifications:

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or at least 5 (five) years of experience working in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electrical Installation, and Power Transmission (GIS/AIS Substation Project). Certification in electrical instrumentation/ testing & commissioning is preferred;

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting and implementing daily field work instructions;
• Conducting quality control on components and final products, such as functionality, speed, and safety standards, at project sites;
• Inspecting raw materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions;
• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic use;
• Analyzing test results, detecting problems, and identifying the root causes of product malfunctions;
• Ensuring compliance with customer specifications, codes, or requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities;
• Developing test environments and test cases for all electrical systems;
• Performing maintenance on work-related equipment;
• Preparing specifications for purchasing electrical equipment and materials;
• Collaborating with engineers in other fields;
• Documenting technical problems and their solutions;
• Establishing automated testing systems for routine inspections;
• Submitting periodic reports to relevant superiors;
• Promoting and implementing Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental principles within the Company.
