Job summary

Nusantara Global Partners seeks a Project Liaison Officer to serve as the central link between the firm and government stakeholders, managing relationships across ministries, agencies, and financiers. This high-intensity role requires exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and political acumen to navigate complex bureaucracies, ensure compliance, and facilitate approvals on major infrastructure projects.

Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in government relations, public procurement, or liaison work.
• Experience in consulting, finance, or infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of public procurement systems, PPPs, and government finance operations.
• Proven ability to navigate complex bureaucracies and influence decision-making at senior levels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key government officials and agencies.
• Government Relations: Represent the firm in official communications and align with project objectives.
• Policy & Compliance: Monitor procurement laws and public finance regulations.
• Project Facilitation: Coordinate interactions between government partners and project teams.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide insights on government priorities and procurement pipelines.
• Representation: Attend and represent the firm in meetings and negotiations.
• Reporting: Prepare briefings and relationship reports for senior leadership.
