Job description

Job Purpose

A network engineer with level 2 network support experience for Data Centre and Campus networks in Singapore and regional locations.

Key Accountabilities

Manage projects and operations related to Data Centre and Campus networks.
Provide level 2 network support, troubleshooting operational issues for Data Centre and Campus networks.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and collaborate with vendors for network deployment and setup of Data Centre and Campus networks (SG and Regional).
Manage network assets, IP addresses, circuits, and inventory.
Coordinate with vendor support teams for troubleshooting, identification, and resolution of network issues.
Conduct vulnerability reviews and assessments on network devices and appliances.
Design and engineer network solutions for new initiatives.
Work with country-specific network teams on architecture reviews, troubleshooting, and replacing EOS network systems or devices.
Be available for 24x7 on-call support.
Prepare network configurations for deployment.
Implement changes during green zone hours.
Assist Level 2 & 3 engineers in problem resolution as needed.
Ensure network configuration security compliance and timely application of fixes.
Utilize network monitoring tools such as Grafana, Nagios, NetBrain, Kibana.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, diploma in IT, or equivalent.
Experience as a network engineer with skills including:

Knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting.
Coordination with multiple vendors for deployment and project management.
Troubleshooting across various network platforms.
Onsite support experience with ACI, SDA, Huawei iMaster, F5, Wireless technologies.
Familiarity with network management systems like Cisco SDA, Huawei iMaster, 5G Wireless tech.
Experience with networking trace tools such as Wireshark, Riverbed NetProfiler, NetBrain, Gigamon, ELK.

Proficiency in advanced routing and switching technologies: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, dark fiber, DMVPN, GRE, IPsec VPN, QoS, Multicast.

Knowledge of Cisco SDA, NAC, Huawei iMaster, 5G wireless.

Proactive, analytical, and conceptual thinker.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Meticulous, deadline-oriented, with multitasking ability.

Certifications such as CCNP, HCNA, or equivalent.

3-5 years supporting complex banking IT environments or similar.

Willing to work 24/7 as per schedule.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
