Role and Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.

- Ensure the organization’s networks and systems remain resilient against security threats.

- Monitor network traffic and system logs for signs of unusual activity or potential security threats.

- Identify vulnerabilities through regular security assessments and penetration testing.

- Work with IT and development teams to resolve vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

- Respond to and investigate security breaches or incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

- Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring that security incidents are handled promptly and efficiently.

- Continuously monitor systems, networks, and applications for security threats using monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SIEM).

- Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with best practices and industry standards.

- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure the organization is meeting security compliance standards.

- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to provide security awareness training for all staff.

- Continuously improve and refine security processes, staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or CompTIA Security+ are highly recommended
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection technologies
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM) and vulnerability scanning tools
• Previous experience with cloud security and securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong teamwork skills and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities and potential security threats
• The ability to analyze complex systems and logs to detect patterns or anomalies
• Meticulous in reviewing code, systems, and processes
• High integrity and adherence to ethical standards
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Will be based in Bali
