Job summary

A leading company in energy management and automation is seeking a Manufacturing/Industrialization Engineer to lead the design and development of manufacturing processes. The role focuses on maintaining high standards while optimizing production efficiency and requires a strong background in Lean Manufacturing and assembly technologies. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Job description

  • Specify, design and develop manufacturing process architecture according to the LADM (Line Architecture Design Methodology) and in alignment with OLM (offer lifecycle management) and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies, utilizing Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies in collaboration with RD teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for equipment development and ensure compliance with Schneider global standards.

· Lead technical trials and tests to validate assembly technologies and support the installation and commissioning of equipment in manufacturing line.

· Launch and qualify the assembly line within industrialization budget, yield rate and schedule, by optimizing the end to end throughput rate and cycle time

· Experience relevant to automation line and equipment is a plus

  • Lead PFMEA with quality team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Train plant manufacturing teams, transfer the Industrial files to plant
  • Optimize industrial performance by promoting digitization, late differentiation of products, and standardization.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, enhance efficiency and quality in Supply chain and manufacturing.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, electronic, Manufacturing or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Manufacturing/Industrialization engineer of assembly process and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and assembly technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly adaptive to change
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Hands on experience on Electronics products (such as PLC, Drives , motion control ) manufacturing operations is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical/automation control proposal definination, detail design, programming and trouble shooting is preferred.

· Excellent abilities to interact with cross functional team

· Excellent communication ability in a multi-cultural environment

· Fluency in English (written and spoken), other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay) are a plus
