Job summary

Tenaris seeks an Industrial Planning Analyst (Global Trainee) in Cilegon, Indonesia. The role focuses on industrial studies, cost analysis of production processes, and benchmarking across Tenaris plants to drive efficiency.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, up to four years’ experience, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with Power BI considered a major advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (prefer Industrial Engineering).
• Experience up to 4 years in industrial planning within manufacturing, cost and process analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI is a major advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Industrial Engineering studies for plants and cost analysis of production processes.
• Develop homogeneous industrial models ensuring coherent decisions across Production Units.
• Monitor monthly costs and annual budgets; analyze cost systems.
• Analyze investments based on economic priorities and benchmark across plants.
• Develop and manage KPIs to monitor area performance.
• Prepare reports and deliverables with deep process knowledge.

Description: Industrial Planning Analyst (Global Trainee)

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
• Maximum 4 years of working experience in the area of industrial planning at manufacturing industry managing "process control and costing and forecasting. " Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Good knowledge of basic Microsoft office applications (Excel, access, word, etc.). The ability to use Power BI is a major advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, having proficient English level both in written and conversation.
• Passionate for industrial business and manufacturing environment.
• Good team player, proactive, eager to learn, resilience, result oriented, and always curious for improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carries out Industrial Engineering jobs for the plants, conducting Industrial Engineering studies, cost analysis of the production process and benchmarks across Tenaris plants.
• Develops homogeneous industrial models that ensure coherence of decisions in all processes and Production Units.
• Meets the annual operation and industrial cost budget monitoring monthly costs per area, verifying correct allocation to the monthly closing, analyzing the Cost System on a regular basis.
• Analyzes investments based on priorities depending on economic criteria.
• Analyzes improvement opportunities, performing benchmarks across Tenaris plants and interacting with Operations area.
• Develops and manages a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.
• Analyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes. Gains deep knowledge of the processes he/she is exposed to.
• Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
